Mozes (www.mozes.com) is seeking a part-time contractor to help our marketing team with ongoing website design and development needs. The needs range from very basic (copy updates and changes) to moderate (navigation updates, building new pages). The work is primarily production-related, though solid design skills are a plus. This also an opportunity to get your foot in the door on future (larger) web projects, including redesigns.
Skills Req'd
* Semantic, hand-written HTML
* Solid cross-browser CSS (we support Yahoo A-grade browsers)
* Web graphics production w/ Photoshop, Fireworks, or equivalent
* Basic PHP skills for static web development
* Experience with version control tools such as SVN or CVS
* Basic JavaScript or Flash skills are a plus
What You'll Do
* Report to Mozes marketing team
* Make ongoing copy changes as directed by marketing needs
* Produce web graphics and build out updated navigation menus, etc.
* Own the codebase, and the publication process through SVN. Interface with engineering team as needed.
* Possibly update basic JavaScript functions (e.g., rollovers, show / hide) and Flash updates, depending on experience
This project is part-time, on the order of 10 hours / week time frame for the next 1-2 months, and that could go up or down after that depending on our needs and your other gigs, but will be consistent business if things work out.
